It Tiz wins at Hollywood Park
June 5, 2010INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) -It Tiz defeated Lily Fa Pootz by a half-length to win Friday's $49,800 feature at Hollywood Park in her first start of the year.
Ridden by David Flores, It Tiz ran one mile on the turf in 1:34.88 and paid $15.80, $7.60 and $5.20.
Lily Fa Pootz returned $5.60 and $4.20, while Zilla was another half-length back in third and paid $5.60 to show.
It Tiz had been off since finishing fourth in the Hollywood Starlet last December at Hollywood Park. She won for the third time in seven career starts. The victory, worth $29,400, increased her earnings to $156,315.
