A couple of Belmont contenders test the track

NEW YORK (AP) -Belmont Stakes contenders Make Music for Me and Drosselmeyer posted workouts in preparation for the final leg of the Triple Crown on June 5.

Make Music for Me had his first breeze at Belmont Park, covering a mile in 1:43.65 for trainer Alexis Barba. Make Music for Me finished fourth in the Kentucky Derby.

Dwyer Stakes runner-up Drosselmeyer went six furlongs in 1:14.10 for trainer Bill Mott. The colt has finished in the top three in seven of eight career starts.

A field of 10 is shaping up for the 1 1/2-mile Belmont. Other contenders include Derby runner-up Ice Box, Preakness runner-up First Dude, Dwyer winner Fly Down, Lone Star Derby winner Game On Dude, Blue Grass winner Stately Victor, Spangled Star, Stay Put and Uptowncharlybrown.
