Wind Caper wins Belmont feature
May 8, 2010NEW YORK (AP) -Favorite Wind Caper beat Reforestation by three lengths Friday in the $54,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
Ramon Dominguez guided the 4-year-old to her second straight win, and third in 10 starts. Trained by Mike Hushion, Wind Caper ran the six furlongs in 1:10.18 on the fast track.
Wind Caper paid $5.10, $2.70 and $2.40. Reforestation returned $3.90 and $3.40. Ain't Love Grand paid $2.70 to show.
