Streaker wins Belmont feature
May 7, 2010NEW YORK (AP) -Streaker remained unbeaten, stretching her winning streak to three with a 2 1/4-length victory over Zaphyra in the $53,900 allowance feature for fillies and mares on Thursday at Belmont Park.
The 3-5 favorite pressed the pace before taking charge in the stretch with Javier Castellano aboard for trainer Shug McGaughey. The 3-year-old covered the mile on a fast track in 1:38.98
Streaker paid $3.30, $2.50, $2.10. Zaphyra returned $2.30 and $2.10. Classofsixtythree paid $3.30 to show.
