April 10, 2010NEW YORK (AP) -Touching Beauty won the $100,000 Comely Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Aqueduct on Saturday, taking advantage of a stretch mishap that eliminated the previously unbeaten She'll Be Doggone.
Touching Beauty was free and clear in the lane, rallying for a half-length victory over Speigthful Affair. She avoided the frightening incident down on the rail when the pacesetting Anchorage lurched to her left, bumping She'll Be Doggone.
