LONDON (AP) -- Three weeks after missing out on a rare English Triple Crown, Camelot will look to make amends in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on Sunday.
The presence of Camelot, who will be ridden by three-time Arc winner Frankie Dettori, adds much-needed quality to the field of Europe's most prestigious flat race. Recent withdrawals include defending champion Danedream, leading English contender Nathaniel and Snow Fairy.
Dettori, who will be racing in his 25th straight Arc, said Wednesday that ''a couple of high-profile horses haven't made the race, so he's right up there at the head of the betting.''
Danedream is unable to travel to Longchamp because her stables in Germany have been placed into quarantine after a serious outbreak of an equine infection.
