Kauai Katie took the Adirondack for fillies, beating
The Todd Pletcher-trained Kauai Katie took the Adirondack for fillies, beating Salamera by 2 3/4 lengths. Ridden by Rosie Napravnik she ran 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:16.81 and paid $2.80, $2.20 and $2.10. Salamera returned $4.10 and $2.50, and Fully Living paid $2.60 to show.
Spurious Precision, trained by Richard Violette, romped to a 5-length victory, running 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:16.53. Ridden by Alan Garcia, the winner paid $3.50, $2.70 and $2.10. He's So Fine returned $10.60 and $4.20, and In Harm's Way returned $4 to show.
