Imperialistic Diva wins Hollywood Park feature
May 31, 2012INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Imperialistic Diva edged Score Boyera by a nose to win the $58,050 feature at Betfair Hollywood Park on Thursday.
Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Imperialistic Diva ran 1 1-16 miles on the turf in 1:43.66 and paid $7.40, $4.60 and $3.
Score Boyera returned $14.40 and $7.80, while Miss Radiance was another 1 1-2 lengths back in third and paid $6 to show. Celestial Kitten, the 5-2 favorite, was last in the field of eight.
Imperialistic Diva has three wins in 17 career starts and earnings of $121,699.
Bejarano rode another winner on the card, while jockey Joel Rosario also won twice.
