Princess Mara wins Belmont feature
May 25, 2012NEW YORK (AP) - Princess Mara rallied to beat Fiftyfour Forever by 1 1/4 lengths in the slop Friday at Belmont Park in the $64,000 allowance feature for New York bred fillies and mares.
The 4-year-old Princess Mara, ridden by Ramon Dominguez and trained by Dale Romans, raced to her third win in five starts. The time was 1:39.47 for the mile.
Princess Mara paid $11.40, $6.10 and $4. Fiftyfour Forever returned $4.70 and $3.50, and Honey Mou paid $3.70 to show.
