Isn't He Perfect wins Belmont feature
May 23, 2012NEW YORK (AP) - Isn't He Perfect beat Gallant Fields by three-quarters of a length Wednesday in the $70,300 allowance feature at Belmont Park.
The race, originally scheduled for the turf, was reduced to four runners when it was switched to the main track.
Ramon Dominguez rode for trainer Rick Dutrow as the 4-year-old improved to 4 for 24. The time was 1:23.27 for seven furlongs on the track rated good.
Isn't He Perfect paid $4.90 and $3.20, and Gallant Fields returned $2.40. Keep Me Informed was third.
There was no show wagering.
