Trois Aureole wins Betfair Hollywood Park feature
May 10, 2012INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Trois Aureole won the $55,050 feature by 21/4 lengths at Betfair Hollywood Park on Thursday, giving jockey Joel Rosario his third winner on the card.
The 3-year-old filly ran one mile on the turf in 1:36.04 and paid $9.60, $4.40 and $3.40.
Rosario had just one win from 32 mounts through the first eight days of the spring-summer meet before his triple. He led all the way in winning the first and fourth races.
Island Paradise returned $3.80 and $3 as the 3-1 favorite. Starship Flare was another 21/4 lengths back in third and paid $8.80.
The victory, worth $32,400, increased Trois Aureole's career earnings to $61,296.
