NEW YORK (AP) - To Honor and Serve, the 3-5 favorite, beat Boys At Toscanova by 5 1/4 lengths Saturday in the $142,500 Westchester Stakes at Belmont.

To Honor and Serve, running his season debut, picked right up where he concluded the 2011 campaign. The 4-year-old colt trained by Hall of Famer Bill Mott finished last year with three wins in his last four starts, including victories in the Pennsylvania Derby and the Cigar Mile.

Shaking off a five-month layoff, To Honor and Serve had little trouble dominating three rivals. Jose Lezcano was aboard as he ran the one mile in 1:34.84.

To Honor and Serve paid $3.20 and $2.10. Boys At Toscanova returned $2.40.

Bold Deed was third followed by Goombada Guska. There was no show wagering.
