Seniors Pride wins Big A's Bryan G Stakes
March 11, 2012NEW YORK (AP) - Seniors Pride, the 3-5 favorite, edged Spa City Fever by a head on Sunday in the $71,250 Bryan G Stakes at Aqueduct
A 6-year-old gelding trained by Todd Pletcher, Seniors Pride got his eighth win in 35 starts. Cornelio Velasquez was aboard for the one mile in 1:38.70 over the fast track.
Seniors Pride paid $3.50 and $2.30. Spa City Fever returned $2.60. Goombada Guska was third with Linebacker the trailer in the four-horse field.
There was no show wagering.
