LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - It's going to cost more for a walk-up general admission ticket to the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby.

Churchill Downs said Friday the price for a walk-up ticket on May 5 will cost $50, an increase of $10 from last year. Tickets to the May 4 Oaks bought at the track will cost $30, an increase of $5. It's the first price increases for either day since 2001.

The track says there will be no change in general admission tickets for either day if purchased online or in advance. It costs $40 for advance purchase Derby Day tickets, and Oaks tickets are $25 in advance.
