Cat Paws wins the Big A feature
February 29, 2012NEW YORK (AP) - Cat Paws, the longest shot in the field at 9-1, rallied to beat Mark It Man by a neck on Wednesday in the $50,960 allowance feature for New York-bred 3-year-olds at Aqueduct.
The gelding, trained by Michael Aro and ridden by Eddie Castro, earned his second win in three starts. The time was 1:13.50 for the six furlongs in the mud.
Cat Paws paid $20.60, $8.60 and $3.20. Mark It Man returned $5.20 and $2.40 while Bizarroworld, the 6-5 favorite, paid $2.10 to show.
