ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Lady of Shamrock defeated Batalha by 2 3/4 lengths to win the $81,000 Blue Norther Stakes for 2-year-old fillies on Friday at Santa Anita.

Ridden by Garrett Gomez, Lady of Shamrock ran one mile on the turf in 1:34.24 and paid $5.60, $3.40 and $3 as the 9-5 favorite. Batalha returned $6.20 and $4.40, while Byrama was another neck back in third and paid $5.20 to show.

Lady of Shamrock earned $48,600 for the win.
