Capital Plan wins at Hollywood Park
December 14, 2011INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Capital Plan beat Star Presence by 3 3/4 lengths Wednesday in the $52,000 feature race at Hollywood Park
Ridden by Joel Rosario, Capital Plan ran 1 1/16 miles on the Cushion Track in 1:43.48 and paid $4, $2.60 and $2.40.
Star Presence returned $3.40 and $2.80, and So Belle paid $2.60 to show.
The victory increased Capital Plan's career earnings to $102,500.
Rosario also won an optional claimer with heavily-favored Rowdy Gal to increase his lead in the rider standings. With four days left in the Autumn meet, Rosario has 31 victories, three more than Rafael Bejarano and six more than Martin Garcia.
