Made to Love Her wins Moccasin Stakes at Hollywood
November 20, 2011INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Two-year-old filly Made to Love Her followed her maiden win last month with a victory in her stakes debut, beating Evelyn's Dancer by four lengths to capture the $100,000 Moccasin Stakes in the rain at Hollywood Park on Sunday.
Ridden by Rafael Bejarano for trainer James Kasparoff, Made to Love Her covered seven furlongs in 1.23.88, paying $7.80, $3.40 and $2.40.
The 16-1 shot Evelyn's Dancer returned $10.40 and $3, while 8-5 favorite Eva's Joy finished third, paying $2.20 to show.
Made to Love Her earned $60,000 for her second win in six starts, increasing her earnings to $113,960.
Kasparoff is aiming to run the filly in the Grade 1 Hollywood Starlet on Dec. 10.
The final three races on the card were canceled because of muddy conditions.
