NEW YORK (AP) - Trainer Rick Dutrow won the feature at Belmont Park on Thursday, one day the New York regulators handed him a 10-year suspension for multiple medication violations.

The suspension doesn't take effect until next week and Dutrow said he will file an appeal.

Tiz the Argument was an easy winner, pulling way to beat E Z Passer by 4 3/4 lengths. Ramon Dominguez was aboard as the 3-year-old filly ran a mile in 1:36.41 for her second win in four starts.

Tiz the Argument paid $11.80, $5 and $3.30. E Z Passer returned $3.30 and $2.50, and D'Oratory paid $4.30 to show.
