GOODWOOD, England (AP) - Boom And Bust took advantage of a favorable draw to win the Totesport Mile at Goodwood on Friday.

The 22-1 shot burst from the inside post, grabbed an early lead and beat Proponent (14-1) by a neck in a career-best performance.

It was the third straight win on Boom And Bust for jockey Hayley Turner. This was Turner's first victory at Goodwood in three years.

Green Destiny, the 15-8 favorite, failed to respond after two furlongs and finished well behind in the 20-horse field.
