DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) - Heleonor Rugby defeated Willa B Awesome by 11/4 lengths to win Friday's $100,000 C.T.B.A. Stakes for California-bred 2-year-old fillies at Del Mar.

Ridden by Christian Santiago Reyes, Heleonor Rugby ran 51/2 furlongs in 1:05.25 and paid $7.80 and $3.40.

Willa B Awesome returned $3 to place. Roar Baby Roar was third. There was no show wagering because of the four-horse field.

The victory, worth $60,000, increased Heleonor Rugby's career earnings to $110,500, with two wins in four starts.
