Distorted Legacy wins Belmont's Sky Beauty Stakes
July 1, 2011NEW YORK (AP) - Distorted Legacy rallied to beat Satans Quick Chick by three-quarters of a length Friday in the $60,000 Sky Beauty Stakes for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
The 4-year-old earned her first stakes victory, improving to 3 for 13. Rajiv Maragh rode for trainer Angel Penna Jr. as Distorted Legacy ran the 1 1-16 miles in 1:42.26.
Distorted Legacy paid $16.80, $7.30 and $4.30. Satans Quick Chick returned $5.80 and $3.50, and Ask The Moon paid $3.40.
