INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Irish Gypsy, a 5-year-old mare from the barn of Bob Baffert, won the $76,050 Desert Stormer Handicap on Sunday at Hollywood Park, giving Baffert his third win of the day and jockey Martin Garcia his fourth.

The favorite in a field of five fillies and mares, Irish Gypsy was fourth in the early going and third at the top of the stretch, but rallied past Warren's Blossom to win by 1 1/4 lengths, covering 6 furlongs in 1:09.67.

The three wins made Bob Baffert the leading trainer at the Hollywood Park meeting, giving him a 24-23 edge over Mike Mitchell with 17 racing days to go.

Garcia rode all three of the Baffert's Sunday winners. Garcia's fourth was for Mitchell.

The winner paid $4.60, $2.80 and $2.20. Warren's Blossom returned $4.60 and $3, and Fund Raiser paid $3.20.

Irish Gypsy won for the fifth time in 12 starts and has earned a career total of $239,420.
