INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Blind Luck rallied from last at the top of the stretch Saturday to win the $250,000 Vanity Handicap at Hollywood Park.

Returning to California after a win in the La Troienne May 6 at Churchill Downs, Blind Luck sat sixth in the field of six fillies and mares before roaring back in the stretch and holding off another rally from favorite Switch to win by a half-length, covering 1 1-8 miles in 1:50.89.

Jockey Garrett Gomez said he was confident the filly could beat Switch despite losing to her in their only previous meeting, the 2010 Hollywood Oaks.

A 4-year-old filly trained and partly owned by Jerry Hollendorfer, the winner paid $5.60, $2.80 and $2.20. Switch paid $2.80 and $2.20. Miss Match paid $4.20 to show.
