Real Nice wins final of Levy Pacing Series
April 30, 2011YONKERS, New York (AP) - Real Nice won the $495,000 final of the George Morton Levy Memorial Pacing Series on Saturday night at Yonkers Raceway.
The 24th Levy for older pacers was the richest North American harness race so far this year.
By the top of the stretch, Real Nice had a length-and-a-half lead over This Is Wyatt and the challenging Foiled Again, defending Levy champ.
Real Nice held off all comers to win by neck in 1:51.2. Giddy Up Lucky was second.
Real Nice is a 6-year-old gelding trained by Rich Banca for co-owners Beverly and Gary Paganelli and Anthony Scussel. He returned $20.80 for his sixth win in 10 starts.
