INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) - Heavy favorite Amazombie won in a romp despite a full field of 11 Saturday in the $125,000 Tiznow Stakes, part of a day of eight stakes for state-bred horses at Hollywood Park's California Gold Rush.

Stretching out to 7 1/2 furlongs for the first time and ridden by Joel Rosario, Amazombie went straight to the front and never yielded, finishing 2 3/4-lengths in front of Quick Enough in 1:29.06.

A 5-year-old gelding trained and partly owned by Bill Spawr, Amazombie paid $4.20, $3 and $2.40. Quick Enough paid $7.80 and $5.40. Mobilized was third and returned $3.80 to show.
