Bold Deed wins Big A's Packett's Landing Stakes
April 10, 2011NEW YORK (AP) - Bold Deed edged Tap Attack by a neck Sunday in the $58,800 Packett's Landing Stakes at Aqueduct for 3-year-olds bred in New York.
The chestnut gelding, ridden by Channing Hill, ran a mile in 1:35.76 for his second straight victory after finishing second in his debut for trainer Mike Hushion.
Bold Deed paid $5.60, $3.90 and $2.10 as the 9-5 second choice. Tap Attack returned $7.40 and $2.50. Dr Disco, $2.10 to show, was the 3-5 favorite on the strength of 3-2-0 record in five prior races at shorter distances.
