No clear favorite at Dubai World Cup
March 24, 2011DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) - The Dubai World Cup has one of its strongest fields in years, with as many as six horses having a legitimate shot at winning the world's richest horse race.
The 14-horse race field Saturday also has several intriguing story lines with three contenders from disaster-ravaged Japan in the race and three entries from Dubai ruler Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum's Godolphin stables, which hasn't won the $10 million race since 2006.
While there is no clear favorite, Twice Over of England has been the subject of much of the talk.
