NEW YORK (AP) - Quantum Miss held off a late charge from Coax Liberty to win the $100,000 Cicada Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Aqueduct on Saturday.

Cornelio Velasquez was aboard as Quantum Miss prevailed by a half length for her third win in five starts. She ran the six furlongs in 1:11.99 for trainer Tony Dutrow.

The 9-5 favorite, Quantum Miss paid $5.80, $3.60 and $2.60. Coax Liberty returned $4.10 and $2.70. Dream returned $3 to show.
