A record-setting victory has Premier Pegasus on the road to the Kentucky Derby.

The 3-year-old colt won the San Felipe Stakes over the weekend by 7 3/4 lengths, the largest margin in the race's 74-year history. The win over favorite Jaycito moves Premier Pegasus to No. 6 in The Associated Press' latest Run to the Roses Top 10 list of Derby contenders.

Uncle Mo remains No. 1 following a 3 3/4-length victory in the Timely Writer Stakes on Saturday in his 3-year-old debut.

Brethren, No. 2 last week, finished third behind two long shots in the Tampa Bay Derby on Saturday and drops to No. 10.

Premier Pegasus' breeder/owner/trainer Myung Kwon Cho says his colt's final prep before the Kentucky Derby on May 7 will be the Santa Anita Derby on April 9.
