Dubai You X Y Z wins at Santa Anita
March 10, 2011ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Dubai You X Y Z beat Bogie by three-quarters of a length to win Thursday's $59,400 feature at Santa Anita.
Ridden by Brice Blanc, Dubai You X Y Z ran 1 1-8 miles on the turf in 1:36.22 and paid $8.40, $3.80 and $3.20.
Bogie returned $3.20 and $2.60 as the 7-5 wagering favorite. Waltzing With Blue was another length back in third and paid $4 to show.
With the win, Dubai You X Y Z earned a shot at running in a stakes race in his next start, according to trainer Mark Tsagalakis.
The victory, worth $35,400, increased Dubai You X Y Z's career earnings to $100,200, with four wins in five starts.
