ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) - Triple Crown hopeful The Factor is getting a new rider for Sunday's San Vicente Stakes at Santa Anita.

Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert on Thursday said he had chosen Martin Garcia to replace Rafael Bejarano, who was aboard when the 3-year-old colt set a track record for six furlongs in winning at Santa Anita on Dec. 26.

Baffert says he feels horrible about taking Bejarano off, but Garcia knows The Factor and gets along with him well. Baffert says he doesn't want the gray colt going too fast, either.

Garcia recently returned to the United States after lengthy visa problems in his native Mexico.

The Factor is named for Bill O'Reilly's Fox News show ``The O'Reilly Factor.''
