Upper East Sider wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) -Upper East Sider, a 10-1 shot, led all the way Friday to win the $48,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct.

Jean-Luc Samyn was aboard for trainer Pat Kelly in the race for 2-year-old fillies on the turf. Upper East Sider beat Excited by three-quarters of a length for her second win in five starts. She completed the mile in 1:38.99 on a course rated good.

Upper East Sider paid $22.60, $7.10 and $4.30. Excited returned $2.80 and $2.50. Victoryat Last showed at $7.90.
