2 top Keeneland sale session at $37,000 each
November 20, 2010LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -Get Rich Quick, a 6-year-old stakes winner, and a weanling colt from the first crop of Ready's Image brought $37,000 each to top Friday's session of Keeneland's November Breeding Stock Sale.
HSPP purchased Get Rich Quick, a son of Seeking the Gold out of Danka, from Brookdale Sales as agent.
Stoney Lane Farm bought the Ready's Image colt, out of Naughtier. He was consigned by Susan M. Forrester as agent.
For the session, Keeneland sold 145 horses for $702,500, an average of $4,845. Last year, 154 horses brought $1,195,800, an average of $7,765. A total of 2,795 horses have brought $146,675,400 with one session left, an average of $52,478.
The November Sale concludes Saturday.
