INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) -Indian Firewater defeated Paris Vega by a half-length to win the $58,900 Nashville Stakes on Thursday at Hollywood Park.
Ridden by Joel Rosario, Indian Firewater covered 7 1/2 furlongs in 1:29.65 and paid $5, $3.20 and $2.40.
Paris Vega returned $5.80 and $3.40, while Thomas Baines paid $2.80 to show.
The victory increased Indian Firewater's career earnings to $137,920.
