Snapshot wins Churchill Downs feature
November 11, 2010LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -Snapshot took the lead in the stretch and raced to a 3 3/4-length win in the $53,039 feature race at Churchill Downs on Wednesday.
Ridden by Kent Desormeaux, Snapshot covered the six furlongs in 1:09.04.
He paid $5.60, $3.40 and $2.40, while A. Diehl finished second and returned $4.40 and $2.60. Captain Cherokee was another three lengths back in the field of six and paid $2.20 to show.
Snapshot, owned by Pam and Marty Wygod, earned $32,400 and increased his career total to $220,015 for his 13th win.
