Tommy's Memory wins Monmouth Park feature
November 8, 2010OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) -Tommy's Memory scored a wire-to-wire win in the $60,000 allowance feature at Monmouth Park on Sunday, beating Joey P. by a neck.
Trained by Anthony Ryan and ridden by David Amiss, the 4-year-old gelding ran the six furlongs over a fast track in 1:10 1/5 and paid $11.40, $7.20 and $6.40. It was his fifth win in eight career starts.
Joey P. paid $5.80 and $5. Hop Skip and Away was another 1 1/2 lengths back in third and returned $8.80.
