Electric Gold wins Aqueduct feature
November 6, 2010NEW YORK (AP) - Electric Gold edged 1-2 favorite Erin Rose by a nose in the slop on Friday in the $47,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on opening day at Aqueduct.
Rajiv Maragh was aboard for trainer Chad Brown as Electric Gold got her second win in four starts. The 3-year-old ran the six furlongs in 1:11.17.
Electric Gold paid $7.20, $2.70 and $2.30. Erin Rose returned $2.10 and $2.10. Verse Choir earned $3.10 to show.
