Sweet Ducky wins Seton Hall Stakes at Monmouth

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) - Sweet Ducky captured the $70,000 Seton Hall University Stakes at Monmouth Park on Saturday, beating Curlinello by four lengths victory.

Ridden by Joe Bravo, Sweet Ducky covered the mile for 2-year-old colts in 1:38 3-5 in winning for the third time in four starts. The son of Pulpit returned $5.40, $2.80 and $2.20 as the second choice in the field of six.

Curlinello paid $2.40 and $2.10. Printing Press was worth $2.40 for show.

Trainer Kelly John Breen indicated the $1 million Delta Jackpot on Nov. 20 at Delta Downs would be Sweet Ducky's next start.

``He's always had the talent, but now he's starting to learn the game,'' Bravo said. ``He's such a big animal, I think the two turns has really helped him as well.''
