Laureate Conductor wins Belmont feature
October 22, 2010NEW YORK (AP) - Laureate Conductor held off Mythical Hero by a nose Thursday in the $56,000 allowance feature on the turf at Belmont Park.
A 4-year-old trained by Christophe Clement, Laureate Conductor got his first win in seven tries this season, improving to 3 for 15 overall. Ramon Dominguez was aboard as he ran the 1 1-8 miles in 1:50.29.
Laureate Conductor paid $6.50, $4.20 and $3.50. Mythical Hero returned $12.60 and $7.40. Cause of Freedom paid $8.40 to show.
