Miami Deco wins Canada's Breeders' Stakes at 60-1

TORONTO (AP) - Miami Deco, a 60-1 shot, has won the $500,000 Breeders' Stakes at Woodbine Racetrack.

This is the final jewel of Canadian racing's Triple Crown, and it marks the seventh straight year without a Triple Crown champion.

Miami Deco, ridden by Richard Dos Ramos, overtook Stormy Lord on the inside Sunday to capture the 120th running of the race. Stormy Lord was second and 2-1 favorite Cognashene was third in the 13-horse field.

Miami Deco ran the 1 1/2 miles in an unofficial time of 2:34.24. Owners Jim and Susan Hill earned $300,000.

The race was run on yielding turf course following afternoon rain.
