Interactif wins Racing Hall of Fame stakes
August 14, 2010SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) - Heavily favored Interactif held off a determined Krypton and survived a furious late rally by Grand Rapport to win the $150,000 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes for 3-year-olds on the turf Friday at Saratoga Race Course.
Javier Castellano rode the Todd Pletcher-trained Interactif, who was a nose in front of Grand Rapport at the wire with Krypton a head back after 1 1/8 miles run in 1:48.21. The win was Interactif's first of the year in his sixth start. He earned $90,000 for the Wertheimer Brothers.
Interactif paid $3.60, $2.50 and $2.10. Grand Rapport returned $5.70 and $4.10; Krypton paid $3.10 to show.
