Jockey injured by horse at Saratoga
August 8, 2010SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (AP) - Jockey Jermaine Bridgmohan was treated and discharged from Albany Medical Center on Saturday after being kicked in the stomach area by his mount in the saddling paddock before the third race at Saratoga Race Course.
The 22-year-old Bridgmohan was conscious when treated at the scene Saturday by New York Racing Association medical personnel. He suffered superficial injuries and was taken to the medical center. Cincinnati Kid, the horse he was to ride, was scratched.
