Karmageddon wins $82,000 feature at Monmouth Park
June 12, 2010OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) -Karmageddon drew off in the stretch and posted a 4 1/2-length victory over favored Pascal's Paradox in the $82,000 allowance feature at Monmouth Park on Friday.
Ridden by Chuck C. Lopez, Karmageddon covered the six furlongs for New Jersey-bred fillies and mares in 1:10.1. The Doug Nunn-trained filly paid $7, $3.80 and $3 in winning for the third time in five starts.
Pascal's Paradox returned $2.80 and $2.60, while Lil Kiara finished third and was $4.40 to show.
Karmageddon won the New Jersey Juvenile Stakes at the Meadowlands last year.
