Just Magic wins Hollywood Park feature
June 25, 2010INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) -Just Magic led all the way in winning the $44,000 feature at Hollywood Park by 3 3/4 lengths over Lions Story on Thursday.
Ridden by Joel Rosario, Just Magic ran 1 1-16 miles in 1:43.32 and paid $6, $2.40 and $2.20.
Lions Story returned $2.10 and $2.10 as the 1-2 wagering favorite, while Gilligan was another 1 3/4 lengths back in third and paid $3.60 to show. It was the sixth straight loss for Lions Story since his first career win last August at Del Mar.
Just Magic has two wins in four career starts and earnings of $65,360.
