He was introduced to horse training at an early age; his father Dick Dutrow – a popular east coast-base d trainer – gave him exhaustive training. When his father left New York in the late 1990s, Richard had virtually one horse, Churkin, to start horse training with. With hard work and high hopes, he became leading trainers in New York for three times – 2001, 2002 and 2005. He has marvelous winning record with seven hundred wins during these years. His Saint Liam posted the winning titles in the 2005 Woodward and Breeders' Cup Classic. On the same day at Belmont Park, Silver Train ensured Dutrow his first Breeders' Cup victory with a dramatic win in the Sprint. In 2007 the Oklahoma-b red Kip Deville, Silver Wagon and Oprah Winney headed his team of horses. His stable was ranked seventh nationally till the end of last year. His 2008 session is studded with many significan t wins but the win that can include him into the racing’ s history of thoroughbr ed is the last leg of American Triple Crown – the Belmont stakes.
